Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has promoted five lawyers to the partnership, effective 1 July 2026.
JWS continues to see strong growth across the firm creating career progression opportunities for our talented lawyers. These appointments particularly reinforce the firm’s depth in key areas including M&A, Dispute Resolution, Employment and Industrial Relations, Environment and Planning and Real Estate.

The firm’s new Partners are:
- Charlotte Fenton (Employment/IR, Brisbane): Charlotte specialises in industrial relations, workplace disputes and general employment law. She advises clients across energy and resources, private equity and manufacturing on bargaining, enterprise agreements, terminations and litigation.
- Julia Green (Environment & Planning, Sydney): Julia brings expertise in real estate (housing, industrial, data centres, retail and commercial), energy and resources, agriculture and infrastructure. She advises on the full lifecycle of projects including in a transactional, advisory and litigious capacity.
- Sally‑Ann Rowland (Real Estate, Adelaide): Sally-Ann has expertise in property development, disposals and acquisitions and major projects across Australia. She also advises on real estate matters in the context of restructuring and land access for energy sectors.
- Connor Stagg (Dispute Resolution, Brisbane): Connor specialises in disputes across the energy, resources, infrastructure and construction sectors. He regularly acts in complex contractual, joint venture, oil & gas, electricity, renewable energy and construction disputes, as well as international and domestic arbitrations.
- Jarrod Wilksch (Corporate, M&A, ECM, Adelaide): Jarrod specialises in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and corporate advisory and governance matters, for clients across a diverse range of industries.
This announcement follows the appointment of M&A/Private Equity Partner Liam Hickey and Partner & Head of Tax Peter Feros, as well as the promotion of Jan Hards to the position of Partner & Head of AI.
